Best Single Player Game ever
In my opinion, new vegas sucked. I really liked fallout 3 and the fun of feeling like i am trying to survive in a post apocalyptic wasteland. New vegas feels completely different. Everything is modern, there is electricity and there are so many people around! Also, I hate that in a post apocalyptic setting, speech is more useful then medicine.
BTW : I am an elder scrolls fan that just likes fallout to fill the gap between tes games.

@UberMenschNowFilms Indeed they did. But I always thought Black Isle was a part of Interplay itself?
And being as I never played the first two games, I always figured that the format from NV and FO3 were pretty much identical. I never noticed any significant deviations. Then again, I’m no game tester and don’t necessarily look into the smaller details that govern things like combat– how much damage a shot does to a specific enemy in a specific hitbox for example.
@Libertarian001 No, no! Don’t get me wrong; I love Fallout 3 as well, but some people wanted Fallout: New Vegas to directly follow fallout 3′s format. It didn’t follow Fallout 3 as much as it did Fallout and Fallout 2. This got some fan up in arms over various things.
Interplay merely published the original games. It was Black Isle who designed them. Fallout: NV was made by Obsidian Entertainment, which shares many roots with Black Isle. You could even say that Obsidian came from Black Isle.
@UberMenschNowFilms I’ve played Fallout 3 and New Vegas, and I actually love them both. What I don’t get are those that bash said games because they weren’t made by Interplay and don’t follow the style of FO 1 and 2, which I have not played and therefore cannot pass judgement on.
i wish that they brought schematics into new vegas , i was kinda disappointed that you can’t build the Rock-it Launcher …. that gun was the only reason that shit like empty bottles were useful. Not to mention that their is a Railway Rifle in mick and ralph’s special stash but you cant get to it!! i wasted an hour of my life trying to get that thing!
@Libertarian001 I don’t know what your experience of the Fallout community is, but I’ve seen people outright bash this game. Now every game, regardless of the majority opinion, will get criticized in some way. Unfortunately, there are many people(mostly Fallout 3 fans) who just hate New Vegas for various reasons. I think New Vegas is great, but alas, these degenerates can’t see beauty in gaming.

I agree, Bethesda has good track record, and they are known for fixing massive game breaking bugs quickly. Obsidian on the other hand took to much time to do the same.
The fact is people didn’t just love fallout 3, they loved a game made by Bethesda. And it’s not easy to simulate the results of a passion project like FO3, flaws included.
Thus I cannot confidently say obsidian will ever get a second chance at making the fallout universe.
@Hahadude0 Although I would like to see Obsidian get another chance, It simply won’t happen. Bethesda knows that this game got a lot of bad press. If Obsidian makes the next game, they will see an low sales, regardless of the game’s actual quality.
Fallout 3 is a good game, I’ll give it that much. But it is simply not a game befitting of the Fallout title. That’s why I like New Vegas. It goes back to the roots of the older games.
As for the bugs and glitches, I hope everyone realizes that this game was made in half the time it took Fallout 3 and yet had much more content. It’s really not Obsidian Entertainment’s fault. Bethesda basically said we want this game by this date.
F3 is without a doubt better. The thing that truely pisses me off about FNV is exactly what u said the apocolyptic feel is gone. Link i love your videos and your voice btw

And on the topic of bugs and glitches, i’ve never really experienced any, in New Vegas or F3, maybe once or twice i was left standing in VATS fir a few seconds, and sometimes the frame rate can drop, but thats as far as it goes.
I love to play fallout my own way, just scavenge and stuff. I’ve amassed like 20000+ caps from fonding and selling stuff, and i’ve barely done the main quest line, except sith my first character, Mad Max, i finished wild card missions with him, but my current guy, Eli, is just rich as hell.
Ill be pretty mad if Bethesda doesn’t make the next Fallout.

@maxsimmer400 It doesn’t work now but when they introduced the plastic money it did. I had one go through the wash and it came out almost blank. I guess they’ve changed the way they make them because I just got one out and tried it and you’re right it doesn’t work anymore.

Just don’t let it go through your washing machine or you’ll be left with a white piece of plastic. on the $5 notes if you spit on them and rub in the same place for a few minutes you can actually rub the queens face off. So they aren’t as indestructable as they seem.
